LEISURE AND FAMILY ACTIVITIES
VOLANDIA

From the restoration of the historic Caproni Aeronautical Workshops, founded in 1910, comes the largest Park and Museum in Italy dedicated to the dream of flight: a fascinating journey through the history of aviation, from the pioneers of flight to the conquest of space.
The museum covers an indoor area of 30,000 square meters and is divided into thematic sections that visitors can explore in any order they prefer: Aviation, Transportation, Astronomy and Space, Automotive Design. Over 100 aircraft, helicopters, satellites, cars and historical artifacts are on display in the pavilions and outdoor areas of Volandia.
A visit to the museum requires at least two hours, but many of our guests spend the entire day here, enjoying lunch at the Flight Café, or at the on-site Fast Food. Don’t miss the Volandia Store, where you can purchase a museum souvenir, a book, or aviation-themed apparel.
Children particularly enjoy the large play area, which features both outdoor and indoor spaces and can be used in both sunny and rainy weather. Teenagers often have fun with our flight simulators, where, assisted by a tutor, they can experience the thrill of piloting an airplane or helicopter.
Thanks to the size of the facility, no reservation is required.
